Slyde Handboards® patented shapes and construction are initially hand shaped and crafted by a team of professionals with years of experience. Slyde Handboards® are manufactured with meticulous care and precise detail, some of the component used, have never before been used for production of hand boards. Slyde Handboards are for the next generation of body surfers! Our handboards are made from 100% epoxy for maximum strength - stand on it if you don’t believe us. We use extruded polystyrene foam blanks for lightness – no excess baggage costs on your trip to Indo. A specially formulated epoxy resin, which is 4x stronger and tougher than polyester resin is used on our boards to balance tensile strength, hardness, impact strength and non-toxicity.

Slyde Handboards® inside the material

This is a closer look at what goes into the inside of our handplanes Boards/ Handboards Our proprietary CSC technology sandwiches the foam core in a 3mm layer of PVC foam. This sandwich technology increases strength by 30% and decreases weight by nearly 30%.Our vacuum seal process creates a full and completely seamless cover over the whole-board which eliminates weak spots found in many other sandwich boards.
